That relatively many Belgian Masters have a worldwide reputation as gifted painters and/or draughtsmen and that among contemporary Belgian artists there are also artists who create realistic works at a high level, the persons below wish to underline.

Their commitments to realist art is evident. As members of the Committee of Recommendation, they support the goals of the Masters of Realism Belgium.
